DR.AX, born in Czechia, first laid his hands on the decks less than four years ago. Since then, his journey has reverberated across the country, with the echoes of his sets reaching far beyond its borders.
To him, the world of broken beats is like a newly discovered universe that he explores with unrelenting passion. Drum & Bass, and especially neurofunk, has become his daily ritual, his fuel, and his sanctuary. He was instantly captivated by the genre’s raw energy and the deep sense of unity within its community. The moment he first witnessed a DJ spreading joy through music was a revelation. From then on, he knew he wanted to stand behind the decks himself, not as an entertainer, but as someone who channels and unites people’s energy into a single, pulsating rhythm.

In his performances, he focuses on fast, precise mixing overflowing with energy, all grounded in a carefully crafted selection. His sets are surgically sharp yet vibrantly alive, with rapid transitions, relentless energy, and a selection that can both soothe and destroy. DR.AX is a devotee of all things dark and dynamic, but neurofunk has etched itself deepest into his heart.

DR.AX, rodák z Vendryně, se poprvé dotkl cd playerů před necelými čtyřmi lety. Od té doby jeho cesta rezonuje napříč celou zemí a ozvěny jeho setů se nesou i daleko za její hranice. Svět zlomených beatů je pro něj jako nově objevený vesmír, který zkoumá s neutuchající vášní. Drum & Bass, a především neurofunk, se stal jeho každodenním rituálem, jeho palivem i útočištěm. Okamžitě ho uchvátila syrová energie tohoto žánru a silný pocit sounáležitosti v jeho komunitě. Ve chvíli, kdy poprvé viděl DJs rozdávat radost skrze hudbu, prožil zjevení. Od té doby věděl, že i on chce stát za pultem – ne jako bavič, ale jako ten, kdo propojuje a sjednocuje energii lidí do jednoho pulzujícího rytmu.
