Darkshire Festival In The Woods 18. – 21. 6. 2026

Venture into the mystical depths of Darkshire Woods, where the forest awakens with ancient energy and every step echoes with forgotten lore. Lose yourself among sacred groves, immersive art, and hidden stages nestled in meadows and among the trees. As twilight falls, the veil between worlds thins, inviting you into a realm where myth comes alive and every breath pulls you deeper into the world of dreams and shadows.

The last available tickets & services are on sale through GoOut. We expect to sell out soon. There will be limited amount of tickets available at the doors. Cabins, Caravan Spots, Festival Area & Scout Campsite, Shuttles, Lockers are now sold out. Follow us to make sure you don’t miss the Darkshire In The Woods experience. Venue
Rekreační Zařízení Svatá Kateřina (Recreational Centre St. Catharina) is located near the town of Chotěvice, approximately 15 km from Trutnov. Please do not confuse our venue with “Resort Svatá Kateřina” on the map, as it is a completely different location. Our venue is nestled deep in the woods between the town of “Vítězná” and “Chotěvice”, near Krkonošský National Park. We strongly recommend bringing warm clothing, as temperatures can sometimes drop below 12°C during the early morning hours. Don’t forget your raincoat. GPS: 50.50159994631578, 15.776261214463991

Payment methods at the venue
Darkshire In The Woods is cashless. You will receive chip wristbands at the entrance, and you can top them up at charging stations inside the venue using both cash and card. Your money will be safe on a chip wristband, and after the festival ends, you can request a refund of the full balance to your account within 14 days. There are no activation fees or minimum balance requirements for cash refunds, everything will be without unnecessary fees. Find more information about our cashless system here.

Parking
A large-capacity parking is located approximately 1km from the festival area and opens on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Parking will be monitored non-stop by our security and it’s forbidden to build tents there. Parking tickets are available in presale and at the parking entrance. Caravans
The caravan camp is designated only for large caravans, camper vans and mobile homes attached to cars. Personal cars itself are not allowed in the caravan camp (only exception is attached mobile home). Caravan camping is located near the treeline on the meadow, and is at own risk. Please bring a 230V EU power cable for connecting to electricity at the Darkshire festival. If you don’t have one, make sure to bring an appropriate adapter. We are not liable for any damages caused by falling trees. If you feel unsecure, you can always park at our big parking lot on the field near Vítězná.

Camping
Camping tickets are allocated per tent. Camping spots are available in the festival area, in the Meadow campsite & Scout campsite above the festival area. Distance of Meadow campsite is about 250m from main stage and 700m from Scout campsite, so it’s both very close. Camping tickets apply for the setup of one tent (max size 3x3m). If you setup bigger tent, you will need to secure additional tent spot ticket. We do not sell tents, please bring your own. All festival visitors have access to the camping grounds. You can take your own food and drinks to the campsite, but please don’t bring glass – pour your liquids into the plastic bottles. You can also take your own grill to the camp, but please use designated places for grilling. Making an open fire is restricted anywhere but in the designated area, and yes there will be one central fire behind the restaurant in the festival camp area. Camping near the trees is at own risk, camping in the forest is restricted.

Cabins
Check-in your cabin at tent next to locker boxes please. There is electricity available in each cabin. We recommend you to take sleeping bags. Cabins are completely sold out. If we refund any, it will be put back to sale in June after prior announcement.

Taxi service
A festival taxi service will be available around the festival area. It can pick you up from stations in nearby towns and villages, as well as from your hotels and guesthouses.

Bookings can be made via this form and are only available for travel to the festival. For travel from the festival, you need to catch a taxi at the taxi point within the festival grounds.

Taxi vehicles will be available on Thursday at the following locations: Dvůr Králové main station, Chotěvice station, parking area, and the festival grounds. Payment can be made in cash, and with selected drivers also by card.

Bars
Well-stocked bars will be available at the festival site serving beer and premium alcohol.

Food
At the venue, there will be several food options available at festival stalls offering a variety of cuisines including burgers, vegan options, hot dogs, fries, mexican, italian and greek cuisines. A restaurant serving Czech traditional dishes is also located at the venue. You can also bring your own food into the area.

Showers & Toilets
Showers are located near the restaurant at the festival campsite. Toilets are located at each campsite and stage. Please do not pollute your surroundings and the forest, use the toilet for your needs. We recommend to take your personal toilet paper with you to the festival.

Lockers
Lockers for rent are available in pre-sale. The capacity of lockers is limited.

Merchandise

Darkshire presents a brand new limited merchandise collection for summer 2026. Every piece is part of a one-time production run. When it’s gone, it’s gone. Available on Thursday at Darkshire Festival In The Woods at 4 PM and online on June 24th 2026!

Refundable cups
We will be using refundable cups in the festival area to protect the environment. Deposit for one cup will be 100 czk.

Public transportation to the festival
There are various options for how to reach the venue with public transportation. From Prague with direct bus from „Černý Most“ – to „Chotěvice“, // or to „Trutnov“ (and then by train to Chotěvice), // or to Vrchlabí (and then by train to Chotěvice). Another one – probably the best one is from „Prague” or „Hradec Králové“ – to „Dvůr Králové nad Labem“ (and then by festival taxi or bus to Chotěvice), // or another one to „Jičín“ (and then by bus to Chotěvice). Also, from „Mladá Boleslav“ by bus – to „Jičín“ (and then by bus to Chotěvice). If the capacity of public transport to Chotěvice is full you can always use festival taxis from „Trutnov“ or „Dvůr Králové“. We highly recommend reaching „Dvůr Králové nad Labem“ by train or bus, and then call festival taxi to the festival area. All public transportation times can be found at czech website www.idos.cz

The bus stop is right in front of the Prague central train (“Praha hlavní nádraží”) station building, directly on the highway (not in the park below). The bus is waiting a maximum of 5 minutes. It’s forbidden to bring glass bottles to the bus. Please do not consume food and beverages during the trip. If you don’t show, the ticket is no longer valid. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the bus company. The driver has the right to expel intoxicated individuals from the bus without a refund.

Restrictions
It is prohibited to bring animals, pyrotechnics, weapons, spray paint, graffiti sprays, generators, gasoline and glass bottles into the festival area. We are in middle of the forest, please respect the nature.

Bringing large audio systems into the festival area is prohibited. Please respect the sleeping hours of other visitors between 6 AM and 10 AM; refrain from playing loud music during this time and let others gain some energy for next day.

It’s forbidden to build tents in the forest. Grilling and starting fires are forbidden in areas other than designated spots, especially in the forest. Violations may lead to severe penalties and could be investigated as criminal offenses. Nature is sacred – please treat it with respect.

Smoking and the disposal of cigarette butts on the ground are prohibited at the event venue outside the designated smoking area located in front of the main restaurant within the premises.

Trips around the venue

Short walking circuit (7 km)

Walk with your backpack and enough water behind the techno stage and up on the hill, find out the Buddha Stones, Karolinina Viewpoint. You will find a yellow route here, follow it into the town of Hájemství. Cross the main road and follow the yellow route to the “Hájemství – Osada” where you hit the green road and turn left in the direction of Kocléřov. Just before you enter Kocléřov you will see a beautiful church in the woods “Navštívení Panny Marie”, where you hit the left on the road behind the church and walk towards the festival area on the main road.

Long walking circuit (20km)

Walk with your backpack and enough water for at least 4 hours behind the techno stage and up on the hill, find out the Buddha Stones and Karolinina Viewpoint. Here you will get on a yellow route, start following it into the Debrné. Then you will hit the green route in Debrné, which leads you over the “Martinská Stěna – Wall of Martin” beside the Labe river into the town of Dolní Nemojov and finally to the dam of Lesní Království “Kings Wood Dam”. From the dam, you will head north on the blue route through the “Kings Forest” into the town of Hájemství, where you turn left on the green route following it in the direction of Kocléřov. Just before you enter Kocléřov you will see a beautiful church in the woods “Navštívení Panny Marie”, where you hit the left on the road behind the church and walk towards the festival area on the main road.

By car

10 km south of the venue is the beautiful dam of Les Království (Kings Woods).
20 km north of the venue is the town of Janské Lázně with magnificent “Černá Hora” (The Black Mountain).
30 km north of the venue is the town of Pec Pod Sněžkou with the tallest mountain in the Czech Republic – Sněžka. There is a cable car running up and down.

Festival area opening hours are from Friday 21. 8. 2026 15:00 until Sunday 23. 8. 2025 14:00. Parking & campsites will close at 16:00.

Please do not come on Thursday, we won’t be able to let you on the parking and into the camp grounds.

Rájenka is located near Pohořelice, approximately 10 km from town of Otrokovice. Please don’t go to wrong Pohořelice, as there are two towns with the same name. Our venue is nestled deep in the valley. We strongly recommend bringing warm clothing, as temperatures can sometime drop below 12°C during the early morning hours and don’t forget your raincoats.

Caravans

We offer a limited number of spots for caravans. There is also an option to purchase an electrical hookup. Caravan camping is located between the trees and is at own risk. We are not liable for any damages caused by falling trees. If you feel unsecure, you can always park at big parking lot above the festival site.

Camping tickets are allocated per tent. Camping spots are available in the valley campsite. Distance of campsite is approximately 300m from the festival area. Camping tickets apply for the setup of one tent (max size 3x3m). If you setup bigger tent, you will need to secure additional tent spot ticket. We do not sell tents, please bring your own. All festival visitors have access to the camping grounds. You can take your own food and drinks to the campsite, but please don’t bring glass – pour your liquids into the plastic bottles. Three well-stocked bars will be available at the festival site serving beer and premium alcohol.

Food trucks offering a selection of meals will be available in the campsite, and within the event area, there will be a restaurant with several serving points and a wide variety of dishes. You may also bring your own food into the area.

Showers & Toilets

You can purchase access to showers and ceramic toilets as part of the Comfort Pass for 200 CZK, which grants unlimited entry for the entire duration of the festival, or you can buy a single-entry ticket on site. Showers and ceramic toilets will be located in the festival area next to the restaurant. There will also be free toilets in the festival area and campsite. Please do not pollute your surroundings and the forest, use the toilet for your needs. We recommend to take your personal toilet paper with you to the festival. Thank you.

Storage

There will be a storage room with non-stop security for your bags and other belongings.

Participant Responsibilities at Darkshire Events

Attendance at the festival, stay within the premises, including the camping area and all accompanying activities, takes place entirely at the participant’s own risk. The organizer accepts no liability for injury to health or damage to property arising from unavoidable events (force majeure), the effects of natural conditions (e.g., falling trees, strong winds, storms, floods), actions of third parties, or as a result of the participant’s failure to follow the organizer’s instructions or applicable legal regulations. The participant acknowledges that the festival takes place in a natural environment where unforeseen situations may occur. The organiser provides medical services for the provision of first aid but assumes no responsibility for subsequent medical care or any costs associated therewith. Participants are required to have valid health insurance covering potential medical treatment and related expenses in the Czech hospitals. Participants are strictly prohibited from operating any vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
